The challenge
At NEP we deliver the largest online media platforms in the Netherlands for clients such as NPO, FOX Sports, Videoland and Pathé Thuis. Our international customer portfolio includes Apple, Netflix, HBO and Discovery. When it comes to media technology, we can say that we are the market leader. We want to constantly exceed the expectations of our end users. In addition, we like to invent the wheel ourselves. So we have to come up with smart, infinitely scalable solutions for complex challenges.

As a Full Stack Developer you work on both the backend and frontend of an Australian project that we are working on from the Netherlands. You work with our Solution Architect and developers to create new functions, test your own ideas and implement changes live for our end users.

You:

• Are an intelligent and flexible developer who likes to work on various types of technology. You don’t think in terms of boxes. By this we mean that you are not afraid to use some infrastructure in the public cloud, investigate a new language or adjust a database schema. Of course we have DevOps represented;
• Have experience with one or more programming languages ​​and are not afraid to tackle something new if it fits in better with the problem you are tackling;
• You have experience with popular languages ​​such as Node, Go, Python, PHP but are not afraid of JavaScript work in the front end.
