NEP’s audiotruck ‘MusicOne’ delivers highest audio quality during online concerts Larger than Live
Hilversum, 19 August 2020In the past few weeks, the ‘MusicOne’, NEP’s brand new audio truck, has been deployed during the online Larger than Live concerts in the Ziggo dome in Amsterdam. This high-end audio truck was used to deliver the highest audio quality and to create the best experience for the online audience, who visited the concerts via a livestream. Previously, the MusicOne has been deployed successfully at the Radio Filharmonisch Orkest in Tivoli Vredenburg and during the North Sea Jazz Special, where the entire Metropole orkest was reunited in the Ziggo Dome.
Highest audio quality and comfort
With his advanced equipment, soundproof audio control room and comfortable interior as an own lounge area, kitchen and rooftop terrace, this inhouse developed truck is specially made to record and capture concerts and music events. From intimate concerts to festivals, and from classical music to hardstyle, this truck is suitable for any formation and any genre.
The MusicOne can be deployed anywhere in the world as a mobile Sound Control Room, but can also be deployed as an OB truck for other broadcast or live events. The only thing that must be added, is one of NEP’s Flypacks, that can easily be placed in the MusicOne. The truck can also be connected to NEP’s central infrastructure, so that the truck is connected to the Centralized Production platform. The MusicOne is not only dedicated to music, but also to producing in a green way.
Bulent Des, crewmanager Audio at NEP, adds: “We’re very proud that we were able to develop the MusicOne in house. Our R&D team has worked very hard together with our audio technicians and music industry professionals to make sure the MusicOne complies with the high demands of artists, concert promoters and rights holders. For these parties, it’s more important than ever to have premium content of live performances, so that content can be watched and listened to on any platform or device. We’ve also given the interior a lot of attention, to make sure the acoustics are optimal on every location. For artists as well for the crew, the truck has to be an inspiring place to work, provided with the best equipment, but also a place to relax after a performance and to enjoy the view on the rooftop terrace.”
